Football Against Dementia aims to help anyone (not just footballers) affected by dementia by providing a range of practical support and guidance.
Chris Sutton Ambassador
It all began after seeing our Ambassador, Chris Sutton’s BBC interview about his late Father Mike Suttons battle with dementia. And then we received a donation of a football kit from our ‘Club Doctor’ Dr Sheldon, which started the ball rolling!
We want to build a club of people and businesses to fight against dementia and create happy memories whilst helping people stay in their own homes if that is their wish.
Christmas Stocking Campaign
Once again this year we are filling and distributing Christmas Stockings for local people in need, but we need some help with the presents.
8000 Christmas Stockings have been filled and distributed to local people since 2018. Please drop off your donations to your Elf by 11th December and we will make sure they are distributed to local people.

* All donations must be brand new, unopened and not gift wrapped.
Drop off points can be found at many local businesses in and around Great Yarmouth, including, Tesco, Morrisons, Asda and many others.
Club Ambassadors
Club Ambassadors are people who freely give their support to helping the club grow and raise awareness of Dementia, many of whom have personal experience with friends, family and former teammates being affected.
The more Ambassadors, the louder our voice.

Creating a directory of dementia support services providing practical help and leisure activities. Purchase a holiday chalet for free breaks to families living with dementia.
